Portugal Jersey 2025: PUMA’s First Kits and Later Designs

Portugal’s first PUMA national-team kits were announced on 6 January 2025. That first collection is a different design cycle from the ocean-inspired home shirt announced in December 2025 and the white-and-teal away shirt announced in March 2026. Identify the release before comparing a Portugal jersey 2025 listing with a later design.

January 2025: the first PUMA Portugal collection

PUMA’s first-kit announcement introduces the partnership’s initial national-team designs. Its men’s home shirt uses Portugal’s red identity with a Quinas reference; the men’s away announcement describes a white base with red-and-green details. The women’s range also has its own mint-coloured design, so “first PUMA kit” does not identify one universal shirt.

The same announcement describes Authentic and Replica retail tiers within PUMA’s own range. Those are manufacturer product descriptions. On another store, identify the actual item and measurements before assuming the same fabric, construction or fit.

Later releases belong to later design stories

PUMA’s 3 December 2025 home announcement describes the ocean-inspired red home design for the 2026 cycle. Its 24 March 2026 away announcement introduces the white-and-teal waves of the newer away shirt. A publication date in late 2025 therefore does not make every design on that page a “2025 shirt”. What a current 2025-labelled listing actually tells you

A retailer’s 2025 label is a starting point to investigate, not a substitute for the manufacturer’s dated release record. Compare the full collar, body pattern and stated product identity with that reference. A later ocean design and the January 2025 first collection remain separate design cycles.

If your purpose is to collect the first PUMA range, match the full manufacturer product description and design, not just the national crest and date.
